“Error starting service deadline8launcherservice”
We’re using the same command line script that was for D7 and it’s now failing.
If I manually go into the slave and hit “Start” on the service it starts properly. So maybe there is a race condition on the installer now?
Ok a second pass with: ‘net start deadline8launcher’ service worked on all of our physical hosts but not on our VMs. Not sure what the difference is.
Ok one more related bug. Apparently the launcher takes a LONNNNNNGGG time to start the first time on a number of machines. So it actually times out on some service starts.
