Commandline Render - Not Enough Memory

Hello!

We keep running into error code below. The machine is a newly built Triple 3090 that has a Concurrent Task limit of 3 and GPU affinity set to 3 GPUs. These stations are used during the day as normal workstations and then as a Render Farm in the evening/weekend. The machine still will Render but every so often it will throw an error on a few frames and restart the task. Any tips?

Check the Deadline Monitor task stats, see what the peak RAM usage was, it’s possibly running 3 jobs concurrently is hitting a RAM limit while switching jobs.

It maybe worth running tests to see the time difference running 1x job on 3x cards to see if you’re safer going that route

Took your advice and chose to Render 1 frame on the computer without GPU affinity and Concurrent Tasks. This specific PC is still running into Memory issues with 3 cards.

are you monitoring the VRAM with any tools? is it possible the card runs out of memory (is this scene huge?)

or is this the odd message when it can’t get a license?
There’s another post on the forum about this here

Is this cinema4d using commandline, or standalone RS, or another app?
