It would be cool if the monitor could switch from full mode with all the options into a compact mode what would just be a vertical strip of job names running along the side of your screen.
The Job Monitor is similar to what you’re looking for:

Is there a way to have the jobs enter the job monitor automatically from the submission script?
Not at the moment, but it is on the wish list.
