I was having problems rendering matte shadows on my render farm. so I upgraded my Krakatoa version to 2.1.4.48313. After I did this I can’t prt with the version of Thinking particles that I am using (version 4). I get an error that says it’s not supported yet. I was running one version earlier of krakatoa and it was prt’ing just fine with the version of Thinking Particles 4 that I am using. So why can’t I prt now with this new build? I did not see anywhere in the release notes that this version was for TP 5 specifically, only that it worked with it now, unless that’s not the case. Thanks.
2.1.4 is a Public Beta build, and we accidentally broke support for earlier versions of TP when we added TP 5 support. Then Cebas released TP 5.1 and broke that, too. 
We will have a fix out soon that addresses both problems. For now, see if you can revert back to your previous version of Krakatoa until the fix is posted.

Just a heads up that we have posted a 2.1.5 build of Krakatoa which is supposed to fix the issues with Thinking Particles.
We have added support for TP 5.1 and fixed support for TP 4 and earlier:
