when i right click the completed job i can not find the Job Reports -> View Log Reports.why?is deadline can rendering .avi scene?
That’s strange. If the job is complete, it should have log reports. Can you view log reports for any of your jobs?
Deadline should have no problems rendering AVI files. Just remember though that only a single machine can create the AVI file, since it’s not possible to have multiple machines writing to the same movie file at the same time (this is not a limitation of Deadline, just a fact when writing movie files). So just make sure to increase the chunksize (frames per task) to equal the number of frames in your render before submitting the job.

when i submit the job of 3ds max 8 scene by 3ds max 9 but the deadline can not work acceot only one frame can rendered and can not complete.why? and when i submit the scene by 3ds max 8 shows that “error accessing deadline repository error code 1006”.but the 3ds max 9 plugin can not have this problem why?and i have this repository and shared it .which version vray i am better to install?thank you! 
A few threads back you said you were having missing DLL errors, and problems rendering AVIs. Is this still the case? It’s really difficult to guess what the problem is without knowing any of the details of the problem. I’m assuming these jobs are producing errors? If so, can you please post them. The problem could simply be due to rendering Max 8 scenes with Max 9…
Maybe try reinstalling the submission script:

at first the LocalSetting document is hidded but i already change the atribute make it can demonstrate and the Localsetting document has exist all the time .why?it do not have this errors before.
and i examine the complete job from"C:\Program Files\Frantic Films\DeadlineRepository\jobs\999_090_999_11d07912" ,but when i open the document of "complete"which in the"jobs\999_090_999_11d07912"it have a file but only have zero kb and i can not open it.the deadline monitor shows complete and i can examine the render time graphic but there is not curved shape but a panel with the same color.why is it ?i am confused .why is it so hard! 
The rendered images are saved to the path that you specify within the 3dsmax scene file. So you need to make sure that this path is specified before submitting the job, and that the path specified is a network path that is accessible to all the slave machines. If you specify a local path, the slaves will save the rendered images to their local hard drive, and it’s likely that your images will be lost.
Is Vray installed on your render machines? When you open 3dsmax normally on the machine that is reporting the missing dll files, is Vray loaded properly?
These errors shouldn’t be affecting your render. Deadline is just trying to clean up the temp folder and is unable to delete the specified files. We’re actually removing this feature from the next release.
This is the task file that you’re trying to open. It’s not the rendered image. See my response to the first question above.
If the job only has one task, or all your tasks are taking about the same amount of time to render, then you won’t see a curve.

as i mentioned above only the file that i submit from 3ds max->deadline->deadline(3ds cmd) can rendered,but the submit dialog that 3ds max ->deadline ->deadline(3ds cmd) can not have the option of specify the path your rendering file.so how can i specify the path that you rendering file?
It seems like some of these problems have been reported before, but this thread has gotten so long that it’s quite difficult to refer back to older posts. Going forward, can you start a new thread for each problem? That way, each problem is handled separately, and it’s easier to determine which ones have actually been solved. For example, not being able to render AVI files would be a separate problem from not being able to find your saved images. Thanks you!
Is the job being picked up by slaves and generating errors, or is it not being picked up at all. If the job is reporting errors, you can view them by right-clicking on the job and selecting Job Reports → View Error Reports. Please post one and we’ll take a look. If the job is turning red, that’s an indication that it has been attempted, but is generating errors.
Can you send us the full error report? It’s really difficult to put a single line of text into context without the full error report. Also, if you can translate the non-English text, it would be really helpful.
You were having this problem before, right? What happens when you try to render an AVI file? Are errors being generated? If so, can you please post this as well.
In the 3dsmax Render Options dialog within 3dsmax (not in the Deadline submission script). See attached image.
