On osx (10.8) Monitor opens both Preview and RV 4 (beta) when i select “View output” on a task. I tried setting the preferences back to default but nothing changes.

Thanks for reporting this. Not sure why that would happen, but we’ll definitely look into it. It’s currently logged as a bug.
