Custom layouts from 7?

So far my custom layouts from Deadline 7 don’t transfer into Deadline 8. Is it possible to have a way to transfer them? I’ve spent a long time customizing my layout.

Deadline Client Version: 8.0.0.55 Beta (691026406)

Hey James,

We changed some things about how the layouts are saved in 8.0 that breaks the compatibility with 7.0 layout files. I’ll have a look at whether we can add a simple flow to allow 7.0 imports, but I have a feeling that it won’t be doable, unfortunately.

Thanks for looking into it. That’s a shame though. I guess I should start working on a new layout before release. :slight_smile:
