I setupped 2 node with Deadline to test and have a base for setup the other machines of the renderfarm
There is a Ryzen 3900x with a Gtx 1080ti SC on one of it and the render is 35 minutes for frame where normally, with a rtx 2060 (so less Cuda) i have 4 minutes for frame
I have already increase the frame per tasks but look like is still slow

the shots are on a server so is all by network but anyway was more fast before
any thought
Are you using GPU or CPU for rendering in Arnold? When you directly render on the slower machine using 3D Studio Max, does it match the speed observed with Deadline? Could you provide the specifications of all machines involved in rendering, along with the corresponding render times?
