What’s New In Deadline 5.1 Release Candidate 2
In this release, the Slave on OSX now uses the ‘thinkbox’ license server. It was still using the old ‘frantic’ one in RC1. Vue 10 support has also been added.

Slave Improvements
- On OSX, the Slave now uses the ‘thinkbox’ license server.
3dsmax Improvements
- Set the submit mode color indicator’s default color to gray in SMTD.
- In SMTD, the tile assembly job no longer tries to assemble the Render Elements when rendering with the VRay frame buffer.
- In SMTD, the tile assembly job no longer has a machine limit.
Maya Improvements
- When submitting a non-animation job, the integrated submitter will now set the frame range to be the current time.
Messiah Improvements
- The Messiah render executable now flushes its stdout more often, which should help detect where a crash occurs.
Vue Improvements
- Added support for Vue 10.
