We upgraded to Deadline 5.2 and now we are getting errors when we try to submit through max 2012. I have tried installing the Max 2012 Product update 8 however the problem persists. Please advise, thanks. I have posted screen caps of the first 3 errors.
Can you open a command prompt on one of your workstations and type in
deadlinecommand -getrepositoryrootWithin a second or two, you should see a return value of the root, or an error message.
Please let us know the result.
I receive the following error:

This shows that the problem is not in the Max Submitter (which is my area), but deeper, in the installation of Deadline 5.2 itself.
A Deadline developer will have to look at this and advise.

Are you getting this error on all machines you try to submit from, or just one?
Can you try reinstalling the Deadline 5.2 client on one machine to see if that helps? It looks like there is a version mismatch between some of the Deadline bin files.

the errors seem to be on only one machine. However we were having issues with jobs failing on all machines. I think we have it fixed now though. We did not have the latest product updates for max on the render nodes. Thanks for your help, I will let you know if we have anymore issues.
