we try hard to install Deadline6 RC1 on our Linux Machine, which is predestinated to be a repository server. However, as it comes down to install MongoDB i get following error - please see attached screenshot.
What do we miss in the configuration of the server?
Any other info needed?

It looks like that might be a mono-related error. Which version of Mono do you guys have installed? We generally recommend to stick to version 2.10 for Deadline 6.
Well, it is running. I had to spend bunch of hours on investigating what exactly it needs to run. installed mono-complete, tcl and some other stuff.
Since then -yet no problems, however on a desktop it will never show a launcher. Is there a gui for it? Does the installer makes gnome-menu entries?
There should be a Launcher icon in your notification area. The gui from version 5 is gone, since everything you need will be in the Launcher icon’s right-click menu.
Currently, the D6 installer does not create menu entries on Linux. It’s on our todo list for 6.1.
