What’s New In Deadline 7.1.0.32 (Release Candidate 6)
This is the sixth and final (planned) release candidate for Deadline 7.1, and includes various bug fixes and minor improvements.
Here are the highlighted changes:
General Improvements
- The Deadline applications now properly prompt you to enter in a valid repository path if the system deadline.ini file doesn’t exist.
Installer Improvements
- Fixed a bug due to a missing deadline.ini file when installing a new repository with the Repository installer.
Launcher Improvements
- The Launcher icon tooltip now shows that the repository is not set when the deadline.ini file doesn’t exist.
Balancer Improvements
- The Balancer now shows regions as disabled if they are disabled or if they are disabled specifically for the Balancer.
Command Improvements
- When the system deadline.ini file doesn’t exist, deadlinecommand no longer throws an error when running without command line arguments, or when running commands that don’t require repository access.
AutoCAD Improvements
- The PackageContents.xml file for the AutoCAD plugin now has the correct information in it.
Draft Tile Assembler Improvements
- Fixed some bugs when assembling tiles that were created by Houdini or Mantra jobs.
Houdini Improvements
- Fixed a bunch of bugs with tile rendering in the Houdini submitters (Monitor and integrated).
- Fixed how the Houdini plugin sets the tile output path for tile renders.
Mantra Standalone Improvements
- Fixed a bunch of bugs with tile rendering in the Mantra submitter.
modo Improvements
- Fixed a bug in the modo plugin that caused it to sometimes show a vray-related error message when the actual render error had nothing to do with vray.
