Requeuing task
Setting slave’s status to Stalled.
Setting last update time to now.
I did a little research here and here is the results :
job is restarted 8 times
first 4 with arnold certain sample amounts
then I paused the job and changed the sample amounts
the reason I did that because I want to find out whether its a time issue or job itself
it appears that no matter what is your job it restarts the job each 2 minutes according to your system clock
Strange, it seems like the Slaves are somehow doing house cleaning and requeuing their own tasks, based on that report.
Can you try just running Deadline Pulse on one machine, to see if that fixes the problem? Having Pulse running should prevent the Slaves from housecleaning, which should hopefully work around this bug while we fix it.
Also, can you double check that you don’t have two deadlineslave.exe processes running on that machine (or, two machines named the same running Slaves, for that matter)?
While having two Deadline Slaves is perfectly valid, it’s important that their names are different – it might be that two Slaves have the same name and are ‘fighting’ each other with status updates.
I dont think it’s a 2 slave problem because how can I run 2 slaves when I have only 1 pc
1 ) tried with pulse ((( same problem …
I made screenshot
2)Look at task manager also
I cant find 2 slaves
but there are 2 - 3 sandbox … I dont know right this is or wrong
what do you think ? I dont think that thinkbox released software that is not able to render over 2 minutes of time
I think they checked the release
(its not only arnold problem , I saw same error, guy reported on that forum , he was using different renderer)
I’m honestly not sure how the IP change worked for that fellow, but most people have luck re-downloading the installer and doing an update or re-install.
I have same error too!!! Please, help me. I have a Slave (to render), a repository, and a computer which I command the max file to the slave render. It is fully configured according to the documentation, both the repository and the client. It was supposed to be working normally, but could not figure out the error. I’m sending the logs of the slave attached, and prints as well. Thank you, and wait response.
