Deadline adds unwanted "." to view output

When I right click a task in the monitor and choose the “view output” option Deadline adds an unwanted “.” before the frame number. This leeds to Deadline not finding the render frames and marking all of them as missing.
The job was submitted via the 3ds max 2014 submitter and vray 2.4 is the renderer
