Axyz Anima 5.2.0
We are currently trying to render axyz Anima project with 3dsmax via deadline, I understand that deadline/anima works well if the anima project is located on a shared location. But in our circumstances, we do not have a shared network location for our nodes, hence we need to package all the assets together during deadline job submission.
Currently, the Anima project submitter/collector is broken within deadline, we have collected the anima project as a .anipack file via a custom script. everything looks good at this stage.
The anipack file is located right next to the max file, when we do a traditional 3dsmaxcmd rendering on the submitted job on the render node, everything works fine and the anima project is loaded successfully but when rendering via deadline on the render node, it fails to load the anima project, and throws the error “Cannot find Anima Project”. we have tried to manually copy the anipack files within the temp job folder on the render node as well with no success.
It almost feels like deadline is searching for the anima project in it’s original location where as the traditional 3dsmaxcmd rendering works without any issues if the anipack file is sitting right next to the max file.
Our goal is to get deadline to render the Anima project successfully in the same way as 3dsmaxcmd.
Any help with the above matter would be appreciated.
