I tried doing 4 concurrent tasks on an 8-core machine with 8GB memory. 1 task takes only 1.2 GB, so it should have been fine.
This was with max 9 x64. Beta 18 of Krakatoa.
But I think it might be something with Deadline. Here’s the message…

Yep, turned out Deadline had a bug when running Max concurrently. This was fixed and will be available in the update after Siggraph. It works great here - tested it two days ago…
