Deadline Jobs: Auto Cleanup

Hi,

I’m just trying to streamline our repository a bit and I’m looking again at Auto Cleanup. I’m a little confused though as to how this will work in practicality. What I would like is to keep completed jobs for 7 days, archive them after that for 14 days and then delete them. It’s a bit confusing looking at the documentation as to whether this is possible. So If I set it to:

Cleanup Mode : DeleteJobs
Completed Jobs: 7 days
Archived Jobs: 14 days

WIll it do what I want or will it just delete the jobs after 7 days?

Hey Nick,

There is actually a bug in v5 that prevents the auto-clean up of archived jobs from actually working. This has been fixed in the 5.1 beta (5.1 should be out in a few weeks).

We’ve also cleaned up the Repository Options configuration window to make it more clear how to set up auto-cleanup to get the behavior you’re looking for.
