Deadline Machine Limit Ignored

We have been experiencing this issue for over a year or so now, just now getting around to getting the issue posted here on the forums.

We don’t understand why a job that has a machine limit set to 10 still picks up more nodes than the limit? This is a houdini submission. You can see the Machine limit is 10 but the Status shows a number of 30 nodes. Why would this happen?

Is there multiple jobs in that job? That machine limit means that each job within that batch job can have 10 machines. I think you can also override the machine limit per job too so maybe check that out as well.
