Deadline Monitor/Launcher fail to start

When I try to start the Deadline Monitor it fails to start. No window opens for the application.

Looking at the logs it is throwing the following error.

Exception on Startup: An Unexpected Error Occurred: ImportError : cannot import name ‘DataController’ from ‘Deadline.Controllers’ (unknown location)

This appears to be an issue with Python 3. I can get the Deadline Monitor and Launcher to run if I force them to use Python 2. Any idea why Python 3 wouldn’t work?

I resolved this issue. I had installed the Deadline python stubs not in a venv by mistake.
