deadline monitor not updating

Now that we have deadline rolled out to a large portion of our farm (~400 nodes), sometimes updating in the monitor simply doesnt happen for a long time.

The lower right corner is red, and says “last update 1.2 mins” or something like that.

Would it be possible to add a ‘refresh’ button to force a refresh? I feel helpless when i know i am looking at bad data, but my only way to refresh is to close the monitor and reopen it (seems to happen more and more often)

I’m guessing the reason the auto-updating in the Monitor isn’t working sometimes is this:

If it’s a connection issue, a manual refresh button won’t help. Can you check the Monitor log when this happens to see if there are connection errors?
