Deadline Official Support for Karma 20.0 - 20.5 (Standalone)

Deadline’s (10.4.0.8) latest release did not include standalone Karma and Houdini Karma support for versions 20.0-20.5. The files were missing from the Repos in this release. I am attaching the official patch for it here.

Files hierarchy is similar to the default Repository’s file hierarchy. Put the ones attached here to the respective locations in the Repo.

P.S. Integrated Submitters aren’t available for both.

Found this post, but not sure this addresses what I need to do. I am looking for a way to submit export jobs for husk/karma rendering from Houdini. Idealy I would like to export the USD scene with one task and then have a husk job dependent on the usd files being created. We have done this with redshift, vray, and mantra in the past with the deadline hda rop. Is it possible to do this for Karma?

Don’t expect any work on the Deadline version as Deadline is now in ‘maintenance’ mode

Yeah I have been through that post, it is a little hard to follow, but if that is the best there is, I will take a deeper look. Thanks.

I would consider adding support for Karma “maintenance”. :slight_smile:
