Hey all, I wanted to reach out with a question regarding RCS setups.
We currently have 2 small farms in different locations , one is in house , and the other one far far away.
We have set up deadline RCS and the repository of the remote farm nodes is pointing to the in-house machine that runs the RCS service.
However we are noticing very slow startup times for the remote render farm and we suspect that our scene files ( approx. 1gb sizes ) take too long to be transferred from the local to the remote location via RCS.
Is there any other way that this could be facilitated? What if we could sync the repository externally for example ?
Or other ideas if anyone has !
