Is there anyway of getting an image preview of a frame during rendering using deadline?
I thought it was possible back cant see how.
Any pointers would be appreciated. Using 3ds Max.
Do you mean before the frame has finished rendering, or just viewing frames as they become available?
If the former, that’s not possible unless your render engine chooses to throw up a render preview window (3dsmax VRay style), but you’d only really be able to see that by remoting to the worker in question.
If the latter, that’s a built-in feature in Deadline. The job just needs to specify where the output is going to, otherwise Deadline doesn’t know (and removes that context menu). From memory, I think this is available both by right clicking on the job itself, and from each task.
