Deadline + Stoke Partitioning

Hi there,

I am using deadline and stoke partitioning and I’ve noticed that it’s not working like krakatoa partitioning. I mean, I can’t use concurrent tasks like in krakatoa since each concurrent task take’s one license. This way, if I have 4 stoke licenses, if one machine takes 4 concurrent tasks, i’m done with licenses, correct?

Cheers,

This should be addressed/fixed in Stoke 2.

Hope I’m not hijacking this thread–I just tried to partition over dealine with a stoke simulation and all the files came out 1KB. I even set it to partitiononly on my workstation machine so the path to the sim and the license shouldn’t be an issue. Where do I start to troubleshoot?

“render stoke Objects” is enabled.

Edit: Woops! Just read about the Stoke-specific dialgo and had tried through Krakatoa.
