Deadline sudden Repo connection error

Hi!

I couldn’t able to connect to the repo, it was working without any issues from several months, suddenly I got the above error and rest of my other machines are connected successfully.

I tried re-installing client several times, No luck!
I can access the repostory path in network without any issues
I’m, the admistrator account

more errors after restarted

More Info: My repository is located in nas.

When I try to connect to the repo, all my network drives are getting frozen or acting deadslow.

Hi,

One thing you can try is to: Delete (or rename) this folder:
C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Thinkbox\Deadline10

IIRC, that folder does not get deleted if you uninstall. I’d try exiting out of the monitor, renaming that folder to e.g. C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Thinkbox\Deadline10_old and then restart the monitor – it should rebuild that folder.

Not sure what you meant by your network drives hanging when connecting to the repo – was that through smb/windows explorer or through deadline ? The repo is just a network share, so if it is hanging via windows explorer, then check the servers logs to see why browsing is slow (e.g. perms issue for the repo share) or your client event logs to see if there are any messages.
