I have deadline v7 and compatible licence file.
In previous version of deadline, it was using “LMTOOLS” to manage the active licence…
With version 7, I cannot work out where I should put my licence file on the hosting server.
Can anyone help?

The only difference with Deadline 7 is that we’re no longer shipping the licensing tools with the repository (since we don’t recommend running them from within the repository). So you just need to download them and put them somewhere on your server, and after that the setup procedure is basically the same was it was with v6. In fact, if you already have a server running that is hosting your v6 licenses, you just need to update the license file itself:

I have installed the licence server application.
But when im using lmtools and hitting the “reread Licence File” button it says reread server failed.
Could I get some help with this?

Here is an error im seeing in LMTOOLS > Server Status tab, “perform status enquiry”

I have been using the licence sent to me based on the hardware I provided information about.
