Deadline will not use Max 2016

We have Deadline 7.0 and we were using 3ds max 2014,

We have recently upgraded to 2016. I have copied the maxscript for deadline to 2016 and the dialogue works fine and sends the job to the server. Problem is it does not render. If I back save it from 2014 and send it the file renders fine.

it says:

3ds,ax: Failed to load max file "C:/users/rendernode/AppData/Local/Thinkbox/Deadline 7/slave/

Do I need a new installer for 3ds max 2016?

Hi,
Deadline v7.1.0.35 introduced official support for 3dsMax 2016. For those on annual support, this is a free upgrade and you just need to contact sales [at] thinkboxsoftware [dot] com to request an updated v7.2 license (the latest version) and access to download the updated software. being a point release, it can upgrade over the top of your existing version:
