deadline3.0 can’t render max2009
We’re going to need a little more information to help you with this.
Are you running into problems with job submission or with rendering? If you’re getting errors while rendering, please post an error report (right-click on the job and select Job Reports -> View Error Reports).
Thanks!

Thanks for the log. Deadline just seems to be the messenger in this case, as 3dsmaxcmd.exe is printing out this error and then exiting:
We can run a quick test though to see if this is a Deadline specific problem. On this same machine that reported the error, can you copy the scene file you’re trying to render (实践工作坊最后-ok.max) to its local hard drive (ie: c:\temp\实践工作坊最后-ok.max). Then open up a command prompt on this machine and run this command:
“c:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\3ds Max 2009\3dsmaxcmd.exe” “c:\temp\实践工作坊最后-ok.max” -v:4 -start:0 -end:0 -atmospherics:False -renderHidden:False -effects:False -useAreaLights:False -displacements:False -force2Sided:False -videoColorCheck:False -renderFields:False -skipRenderedFrames:False -gammaCorrection:false -continueOnError -rfw:1 -videopostJob:False"
Of course, make sure to change the path to 实践工作坊最后-ok.max as necessary. This test is to see if the problem also occurs when Deadline isn’t being used. Let us know if you get the same error or not.
Thanks,
- Ryan
thanks for your help.

Sorry, I made a typo. There was an extra quote (") at the end of the command line. Try this one:

Thanks for running this test. What we’ve done now is confirmed that the problem isn’t related to Deadline, as the same error occurs when Deadline is out of the picture. I googled the error message and found this thread on The Area:
area.autodesk.com/forum/autodesk … rminating/
There are some suggestions in the thread, so hopefully one of them helps you out. If not, I would recommend contacting Autodesk to see if they have any ideas. Make sure to mention that the error occurs when rendering from the command line so that they know it’s not related to any 3rd party render management software.
Cheers,
- Ryan
thanks,
When I put “实践工作坊. MAX” after the name of rendering documents into English ,Part of the machine can render, and some machines still can not.
Maybe try reinstalling 3dsmax on the machines that fail to render. Also double check to ensure that the version of backburner that came with the max 2009 installer is installed on these machines.
I wish we can help more, but if max is failing to render from the command line without Deadline involved, there isn’t much we can do from Deadline’s end of things.
