Hi. What’s the word on creating deep images from Krakatoa Maya (mac)? Possible?

We have put a lot of thought into Krakatoa outputting deep images. What we currently working on is output deep shadow maps (using OpenEXR 2.0 deep image format). However, haven’t created deep output for the beauty passes yet.

What is the pipeline that you are imagining? What image format/pixel data would suit? We would like to get as much feedback as possible to decide the best way to approach it.

Mainly I would like to be able to play with depth of field and motion blur settings in nuke

Ah I see. I will take a look at the format that Nuke expects. Outputting deep images is a feature that we have talked about for a while, and we are planning to add it in the future.
