Would be cool to be able to write scripts for the dependency view… then we could implement something like:
test scriptdependency script -> would execute the script, and colorcode the nodes according to whether they are successful or have failed for the currently selected job/task
yeah. thats a cool idea.
i want to do a lot with the dependency view…i want to be able to connect whole pipelines and have wait/test/check operators and all sorts of things. i want to be able to build complete facility automation. then, rule the world. 
Ideally, we would like a way to test all scripts through Deadline in their proper contexts. It could be a built-in IDE or a plugin for an existing one. It’s been on the wishlist for years, but it never ends up being a high priority.
