Testing depth blur on OpenExr images (MtTamWest.pt.exr; 1214 x 732, 16 bit float). I am getting an unexpected semi-transparent band at the bottom of the output image.
See attached comp.
Could you try the 31667 version of the depth blur and tell me if it has the same issue.
Brian!
31682 build installs correctly - thanks for that.
The problem I reported earlier is fixed with this build.

New problem with 31682 depth blur.
I added a depth map image and effect mask for the depth blur. All is fine so long as I use ‘simple’ instead of ‘advanced’.
1 Pressing ‘advanced’ results in a rerender of the depth blur, even with no changes to the settings. Why?
2 Pressing advanced sometimes causes Fusion to crash, and sometimes results in a bad rerender (the area within the mask renders transparent).
Comp attached.
Regards,
Julian
Ok, I have fixed the crash by limiting the minimum and maximum blur size to a reasonable number.
For the advanced vs simple mode, there is no easy translation between the parameters. Unfortunately, this means that the blur in the two methods are not transfered when the button is clicked.
