DL 6.1 & C4D r15 Compatibility

I have a client that has purchased DL 6.1 that will ideally be used for AE CC and C4D (single platform is fine). It’s my understanding that C4D r14x works fine. The client has expressed an interest in upgrading to r15x. I’d like to know ahead of time if there’s compelling reasons to not go to r15x for compatibility issues or if there are, possible ballpark of when/if they’re going to be addressed.
