DL Monitor: Filter Presets

Hi,

just an incitation:

A feature that would the Deadline Monitor really make even more enjoyable and usable :smiley: would be filter presets.

Would be cool if the user could save say “only my jobs in pool xy” and “all jobs in pool xy” to presets, that can be called using keyboard shortcuts for fast switching between the most frequently used views. I guess I spend several minutes a day clicking those filter dropdowns, using the same 6 clicks over and over.

Speaking of keyboard shortcuts. Would be nice to have them for more monitor functions, like “show dependencies”, “modify frame range” and so on.

That sounds like a good idea. We’ve logged it as a feature request, and we’ll see if we can get it into the next release.

Here is a feature request that is in shotgun that I really like along these lines. They have “pages” which are filter and grouping presets.

“My Jobs, All Jobs, Jobs in Progress” etc along the left.

But one thing they have that would be great in Deadline is for “grouping”. So “group by user” then it creates dividers for each user. (See an example of this at the beginning of this video: shotgunsoftware.zendesk.com/for … ries/21524)
