draft, custom LUT support

It doesnt seem like we can use custom luts (3dl, cube etc):

Is it possible to do that?

Doesn’t look like it:

custom LUT’s are on the roadmap. they were not implemented because it turned out to be a non-request with our major clients, even film. [which was odd, i thought]
if it’s a request from you guys, we can look at it for the next major release of draft.

Cool, yeah, we have luts burned into quick access jpegs for every render, would be nice if we could avoid using nuke for that purpose.

We generally use 3dls and cubes.

are they specific? or generic? we have normal LUTs built in. eg. REC709

anyway, you know how it works - we had it high on the roadmap but the burning requests of the users before release were NOT custom LUTs.

They are show / shot specific. Most of the last couple of shows we worked on had per-shot client luts. Its luts of fun (sorry).

+1 here too for lut support in Draft, it varies from project to project here too.

Resurrecting this one - we use un-graded ACES (linear and cc/cct) for our images but need to use OCIO to convert to a specific review gamma/gamut and apply a custom LUT to apply the shot’s grade. Not having LUT support in Draft means we have to do extra renders just to convert our composites and renders to a review color space.
