draft import error

We are getting a strange import error when trying (from python) to import draft.

On some machines, we get this:

2013-10-21 11:59:10: 0: An exception occurred: Error in RenderTasks: RuntimeError : file_exists: Could not get the file attributes of “C:\Python25C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Backburner\deadlinecommand”: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. (Python.Runtime.PythonException)

2013-10-21 11:59:10: [’ File “none”, line 604, in RenderTasks\n’, ’ File “none”, line 642, in SCLVerifyAndMoveDirectory\n’, ’ File “\\s2\exchange\software\managed\pythonScripts\site-packages\scl\deadline\renameAndMoveRenders.py”, line 5, in \n import Draft\n’]

2013-10-21 11:59:10: at Deadline.Plugins.ScriptPlugin.RenderTasks(String taskId, Int32 startFrame, Int32 endFrame, String& outMessage, AbortLevel& abortLevel) (Deadline.Plugins.RenderPluginException)

Any ideas? If we can, we would like to use draft for this (our fallback is maya’s imf copy, which by any standard is ancient)

Hey Laszlo,

If I recall correctly, that’s a bug in Draft that happens if you have a malformed value in your PATH variable. If you look at the PATH of the machine that generated this error you’ll find the entry “C:\Python25C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Backburner”, which should have a semi-colon between those two directories. If you fix that that, this error should go away.

Cheers,
Jon

Thanks Jon, will take a look
