Is it possible in stoke to emit from certain material IDs that are in an Xmesh Object?

You can drop a VolSelect modifier and set it to select Faces by MatID, then set Stoke to emit by Face Selection.
There are a bunch of other approaches using Genome, PRT Surface etc., but since VolSelect is native to Max, it should be the first thing to try.
