Hi! We are having a problem starting jobs. We can’t find the problem. Is the log files say anything to anyone?

I had issue with a similar install where I found I needed to launch 3ds and launch a corona render, after that the farm seemed to work. didn’t investigate why but it maybe worth a try on one machine.

Also did you restart the machine after installing? if you’re using 2023.1 there was another post with a fix for this

Thanks for mentioning the fix for 2023.1. It got better, now i can render a simple scene with a couple of boxes with no problem, before that i couldn’t even do that. But still, get the same error when i try to render a bit more complex scene. Even when i merged everything in the scene and turned off the popup handling in the submitter ( it was mentioned in another post ).

Btw i’m not sure if i understand what did you mean by launch 3ds and corona render. Start them on the node where the render will run?

yes, I had an unknown error on 8 machines, tested the scene on one of the Windows 10 rendernodes and after that it worked via Deadline, so I just ran 3ds on the other 7 machines, opened an empty scene hit render with corona and closed 3ds. After that they all worked via Deadline
