Dear Krakatoa Team,
i installed the latest update (0.9.15) for MAX8 since i don´t run MAX9 anymore. I get an error message on MAX start that a Runtime Error occurred setting the current directory 
maybe i have to change a line in the plugin.ini?
PS: I uninstalled the max9 version correctly before as we should proceed when installing a new version.

Dear Anselm,
The latest update is 0.9.17.
In 0.9.15/16, we had a bug in the installer which was placing the Max 8 DLL in the incorrect directory. See notes in the 0.9.16 build thread.
But you should be using 0.9.17 for both Max 8 and 9. Also, once you have installed any version of Krakatoa, you can use it with all versions of Max (8, 9 and higher ;o).
From the Program Files, you can run the “Add Krakatoa to 3ds Max” tool and select yet another 3dsmax.exe executable in another installation - all it does is adding the path to the plugin.ini file found in the same directory as the exe.
Uninstalling Krakatoa is only necessary when upgrading to the next build. Once a build is installed, you can point all your 3ds Max installations (8, 9 32bit and 9 64bit) to it.
