So I’m not sure when this started happening but:
in the maya gui, I run the deadline submission tool, and I try to add a limit group.
I click on the “…” next to the limit group and add “arnold”.
after clicking ok, I get the message:
limit groups: Function to ignore python environment is not defined in the native python library
has anyone else experienced this? Any clues as to why it might be happening?
Sounds like there is a mismatch in Deadline’s python installation. We made changes to the version of python that ships with Deadline during the 7.0 beta program, and this error message indicates that you have a newer version of the Deadline applications, but an older version of python.
If you run the Deadline Client installer on your machine again, that will reinstall everything, and should fix the problem.
