error

…now i have fixed some permission stuff for the repository and deadline seems to work but my linux slave report this error…
cannot understand what /usr/bin/which lspci and ifconfig are for and i am still trying to understand why the slave stall even if it render…any tips?

the weird thing that happen after i run deadline is that the desktop become slow…like if there is a service or something that is pinging and doing sometingh in the bakground even if i have slose deadlineslave and the terminal…

To get rid of those errors, I believe you need to add /usr/sbin to the path for the user that you running Deadline as.

The slowdown issue could be a Mono thing, and I have seen this on our openSuse 10.2 xi386 and openSuse 11.0 x86_64 test machines. I haven’t seen this on Fedora, CentOS, or Ubuntu though. Which Linux are you running?

i m on centos 5.2…when i start deadlineslave the box become slow…and i cannot anymore exit my user…i have to reboot to have a working box! and installed last mono

This is likely a Mono thing. We’ve seen this before a couple of times. I’ve posted a question regarding this on the Mono forum and I’ll get back to you when I get a response.
