Hi all, I often monitor our farm on a Linux box but most jobs are submitted from Windows. When I right click to Explore Output I of course get pointed to the Windows path for the NAS. Is there any mechanism to translate that path to a Linux friendly path?
Thanks!
Vaughn
Hello,
So this is actually something that would pretty easily be resolved using the mapped paths feature(thinkboxsoftware.com/deadlin … Path_Setup) where you would just enter your current base windows path, then your current base Linux path, and then when you explore the output on Linux, is should make that switch for you. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the response. I have the mapped paths set and they work for jobs that are rendered across machines. I’ll double check everything and see if I’ve missed something.

Dwight, I’m not sure that’s working the way you described. I have my paths mapped but still get pointed to the Windows path when exploring output from the Manager in Linux.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Hello,
So I think a good way to get an idea of what is happening there, short of a remote session, is to have you take a couple of screenshots for me. First, can you take a screenshot showing your mapped paths in the repository settings, then take one of the full path showing by right clicking the job, then job output, then explore path, which will show the path as it appears in the monitor on that Linux machine. Once you have those two screenshots, can you post them to this thread? Thanks.
Thanks Dwight, the requested screenshots are attached.
Hello,
So looking at your mapped paths, it looks like there are two things combined that are causing the issue. First, your ‘path to replace’ on the I drive is lower case, and all of the mapped paths are marked as case sensitive. This means when the path is showing as “I:” it is failing, because it doesn’t see “i:”. IF you either change the lower case I to upper, or remove the case sensitivity the mapped paths should work. Thanks.
