Currently the saveXMeshSequence requires a selection of transform nodes to export.
Sometimes however we have transform nodes with multiple shape nodes under it, and we want to export a specific one of those… Is there any way we could supply a selection of shape nodes instead of transform nodes somehow?
It comes up once every couple weeks, usually when we have to ingest scenes from other vendors. Then i have to resort to fixing the file manually, takes me a couple of hours :-\
I think we will be starting to use the xmesh loader in maya as well more and more, as more of our pipeline tips over to the maya side. So expect some rapid fire feedback in the next 4-6 months
