I noticed that some EXRs from C4D are rendered black (havn´t tested other 3d apps yet).
Attached an example EXR (piz compression) which doesn´t work.

I was able to replicate this, thanks for providing that test exr
Is there anything you noticed in common with the ones that aren’t being processed properly by Draft? Or is it seemingly random which ones work and which ones don’t?

i just checked, it also doesn´t work with EXR´s from AE (also PIZ compressed)…
I’m pretty sure I’ve figured it out. It seems that it’s a bug with the fix for the alpha channel stuff I put in last patch. If I’m right, it should work fine with .exr’s that have an alpha channel – can you test this out?

ok, it´works with an alpha channel (straight alpha looks pretty ugly though)…
Yeah, I noticed that with the exr you sent me; seems to be a different issue though, and I’m trying to figure that one out right now.

Just following up on this to say that I figured out the ugliness that was going on here (at least the stuff that I was seeing). It’ll be fixed in the next Draft build.
