In some 3ds max files and only on specific machines (even after a reinstall of the machine 
) we can’t submit to deadline via rpmanger (see attachment), there is no problem to submit to deadline without rpmanager, so if you have any idee what this could be, maybe where to look for log files that could give me some more information…
we use the following versions:
3ds max 2013 design, update 5
Rpmanger: 5.04
Rpmanger submitscript: 5.2
Deadline 5.2.0.47700
Just a shot in the dark - it looks like the temp. save file name was not defined internally during the submission.
I have seen this happening when the submission mode (the drop-down list just below the Priority slider in the Deadline Submitter) has not been initialized correctly. There was a bug at some point where a fresh install would not submit unless you set that list manually to some value (typically “SAVE and Submit Current Scene File with the Job to the REPOSITORY”) at least once.
So I suggest you try setting that list to some other value and then back to “SAVE and Submit…” and try again.
