Hello,
I am trying to create a fake subsurface effect via vertex colors.
Something like this example from Rob Chapman in SoftImage: si-community.com/community/v … =19&t=1947
" Its a simple compound that looks at the closest and furthest distance and applies a spread of colours accordingly. Ive put in a few pertinant sliders for weight and also linked it to the scale of the the light, so scale to amplify the effect. Can be effective for a cheap, real-time fake SSS effect. "
Or even better like Grant’s Translucency script (Attached). Is something like this in real-time possible for Genome?
Could this same methodology be applied to a magma mod to affect the colors on a PRT volume?
Thanks,
Bob Dyce
