fathom meshing

i saw the new fathom meshing. dang! didnt notice that before.

can it use the average of the vert colours rather than the object colour?

Please give this a try, and see if does what you want: select the Fathom object in the viewport, right-click, and choose Object Properties… In the Object Properties dialog that appears, enable “Vertex Channel Display” in the Display Properties group.

Does the vertex color get saved to the PRT files? Is there a way to set the diffuse color for each particle to the PRT color?

EDIT: Ok I checked the “Color” channel checkbox is the PRT Update. But still not showing up in a vertex color map… hmm…

It turns out this doesn’t work because the particles don’t have an ID channel. We’ll add this in a future build.
