Feature Request: Concurrent Tasks Per Core

It would be nice if you could set “Concurrent Tasks per Core”.

Then we could just say Nuke runs on 1 concurrent task per core. And if it’s a dual socket system it would run 12 concurrent tasks, if it’s a single socket system it would run on 6 concurrent tasks etc.

You could also set it to “0” and it would run one no matter what.

I think something like this would be covered by the “slots” system we would like to implement one day. A slot would just be an arbitrary unit which could represent a number of cores, gpus, memory, etc. When a job is submitted, it could specify how many slots it needs to run, and would then only be picked up by machines with available slots.

Cheers,
Ryan
