Feature Request: Sticky collumn settings for panels

Hey everyone. I am constantly creating new panels with different filters to help root out problems, slaves that need a reboot, stuff like that. I am noticing that every time I clone a panel or create a new one, all of the collumns are placed back into their default location. This is getting a bit laborious when I have to scroll all the way to the right to find my collumn I want, drag it to the left and drop it, scroll left until it’s at the right-side of the screen, then drag it over some more, scroll more, then finally drop it into its proper location. Then repeat those steps for all of the other collumns that I need to see.

Generally, I feel like all of my collumns in the “slaves” panel should be the same every time I create a new panel. For example, I always need to display “Extra info 4” because we’ve started using that as a sort of “pulse” for a program we supplement our infrastructure with. But, creating a new panel makes me drag this collumn from all the way down at the end to a spot that’s visible on my screen. This goes for all panels.

This is really slowing down my experience with Deadline. I hope we can see some sort of “global” setting that will let me drag the collumns around for all panels of the same type at once. That will speed up my deadline use considerably. Thanks!

This is an issue we’re aware of and we’re already investigating ways of improving this for version 7.
