1.
On/off for PRT Loader would be really handy. When you work with multiple PRTLoaders and each of them has multiple files and partitions assigned, you often need to mute some PRTLoaders for testing.
A lack of semi-global PRTLoader On/Off switch (one for view, one for render) makes the task really slow.
2.
What would be really helpful is having the Magma variables in track editor named according to custom name, not “InputValue 15” style.
No idea what you are talking about
*Each PRT Loader has an On/Off switch for Viewport, and an On/Off switch for Rendering (the checkbox to the left to the “Percent” buttons).
*Then each sequence inside the PRT Loader has an On/Off switch for Viewport and Rendering.
*And then there is the Explorer tool (click “Explorers” at the bottom of the Krakatoa Main Controls rollout). That UI lets you mass-select and mass-change PRT Loaders and other PRT objects, including the ability to “mute” any subset in the viewport or the renderer with a single click. thinkboxsoftware.com/krak-particle-loaders/
Tricky. The custom names are properties in the Editor, the Track View is showing the properties of the internal Magma. The Editor is a reflection of what is going on in Magma, and the custom names are simply user properties to help with the navigation. But the underlying Magma has no idea about all that user data. It might be doable, but we will have to think hard first…
