We have a couple of odd jobs, that never copied anything to the repository, so are erroring out:
An error occurred while synchronizing the job’s auxiliary files: can not find source file: \inferno2\deadline\repository6\jobs\525f0771d3e2b4172c91d6c1\WW_109_0360_v0016_ssh_v10_back.max (System.IO.FileNotFoundException)
Any ideas how a job could not be copied to the repo but shows up in the monitor?

Thanks for reporting this! The first thing I tested was if a job could be submitted if it couldn’t create the auxiliary folder, and of course it failed when it tried to copy the auxiliary files over.
So then I did some digging and discovered that during housecleaning, it was possible to purge auxiliary files for jobs that were still in the process of being submitted. My guess is this is the cause of this problem. This will be fixed in beta 8, so you’ll have to let us know if you continue to see if this issue after upgrading.

Ok thanks! This is great news, i thought this would be an elusive one. Whats your current ETA for beta8?
We’re aiming for early next week (Monday or Tuesday). We were going to do it this week, but forgot about (Canadian) Thanksgiving on Monday, which didn’t give us enough time to put it together since we don’t like doing releases on Thursday or Friday.
